Very nice, I am not surprised that you won an award with it. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

No wonder; it is beautiful. I like the finial – the flame almost looks like an elongated ball and claw starting to form on the top. Very nice finish details. Welcome to Lumberjocks!

Wow, beautiful wood combination and fantastic design! I love everything about it.
I checked out the flickr photos and was surprised that you created the top out of 1 piece of wood….
from the photo here, it appears as though it might be 4 mitered pieces…. superb craftsmanship and
congrats on your award, well deserved! And a big welcome to LJ’s, I sure do look forward to seeing
more of your work.
Curious….. what are the dimensions and what type of finish did you use?
Thanks for sharing

Very nice. I really like it.
I am really drawn to the legs (feet?). Their curve and the top of them is just marvelous.
And yes, the lid is fantastic too.
Welcome to LJs,
Steve

Very striking Jacquelyn. Welcome to LJ from the other side of the state. Love the legs and the detail on the lid. What are the dimensions?

Wow, thanks for all the views and positive feedback! I’m still trying to navigate this site which doesn’t feel very user friendly . . . eventually I will post more work. I was going to add a photo to this set but I don’t see a way to add anything. Anyone know how? I look forward to checking out all of your work too!
