I made this original project sometime back, and is a take-off form a clip-art picture. I’ve had favorable comments
about it. The sea part is tricky, but is open to a lot of different applications. It’s mostly aspen and walnut.

Nice work….............. from a fellow sailing ship lover. How big is it?

-- Paul M ..............If God wanted us to have fiberglass boats he would have given us fibreglass trees.

Very cool….I assume your answer to Paul was a typo and intended to be 18” not 18’ !!

Thank you for your comment Terrilynne. Nice to get comments, so that I can observe what they have presented. This is my first look at the cross you made. I have a dove on cross which is a variation of Judy’s pattern. It has been a like able pattern over the years. I’ve made a lot of them. Your cross is much richer in appearance than mine. I just used aspen and walnut.

That’s wonderful – it must be even more impressive in person.
