This bench is made from a slab I scored on Craigslist for $15

Finished with…4 coats orange shellac

Followed by 2 coats of arm-r-seal and

2 coats paste wax…Lots of sanding!

Lots of 1st’s for me on this piece…..

Very beautiful! How did you make the butterflies? Router or only hand tools?

i just love walnut, bench looks great
We do quite a few walnut pcs, love looking for smaller slabs to work with.
Do you use a rockler jig for your butterflies.
I l like the contrast.
