Calico Hickory flag box, distressed, danish oil medium walnut, and acrylic water based finish. I was asked to do this for a guy in our unit who just retired. I’m suprised I didn’t take a pic of the back, it was just a raised panel.
The new flags are a little bigger, and the way I build my boxes already, this is a fairly large flag box.
It’s basically an inset glass door frame, if you were wondering.

Very unique design, I never thought of building them that way. I went into your projects and looked at the last one you made. They both look great, as does all of your other work!
