Did you treat this like a glue down floor or do a single glue up an then install in single piece? Never done any flooring

it is maple strips between blocks.
Nope basically just glued all the blocks into place piece by piece. Just need a clean and flat subfloor to work off of. Went down fairly quick

You didn’t mention finish; epoxy would last a LONG time and protect from everything.
