This box started out as a practice piece at my first attempt at dovetailing a non-plywood box. When I put it together it didn’t look to bad, not good but not bad for a first try. So I thought I’d use it for some tool or pieces and parts in the shop. (According to the wife) – It is now going to be used for putting old time y pictures in. The first picture in is of my Grandmother (Julia Alice Taylor) taken in 1892 when she was 16 years old. It’s 101/2” x 7” x 41/2” Alder & Maple, finished with a couple coats of spray polyurethane. Nice Box, Great decision to use this one for pics, For a first try, those are some nice looking joints, and the whole look of the box is clean, nice choice of woods, thanks for sharing
