Bed of Roses

This is a day bed that I made for my daughter. My wife found a picture on a “posh” kids furniture web site and said “can you build this”?

It’s made from hard maple and maple ply with white oak as a secondary wood. Finished with white milk paint.

I bet you hear that a lot. Once you start building nice pieces like this there seems to be no end to everyone’s wish list. Your signature is quite appropriate. I assume that you always say yes dear but I need another tool.

Thanks for the post. It is a nice piece of furniture that I am sure you daughter appreciates.

Very nice bed. It reminds me of the built in “nook” beds.
