My soon to be sister-in-law’s birthday was coming up. She just came back from a semester abroad in Ireland, and I thought i could make her something to remind her of the fun times there.

It is made of maple and the inlay is Brazilian rosewood.
Thanks for looking

Nice inlay. Is it an Irish symbol?

Does the inlay go all the way through or just below the surface?

I like this. It looks like a challenging and fun project to do.

Cozmo35… it doesnt go all the way, i think it goes about 1/3 of the way through, so its a little over 1/8th of an inch.
