My wife asked for an entranceway table for her restaurant….so here we are. Skirts and top are of oak with a strip of padauk (one of my favorites) and the tapered legs are sycamore. My favorite blend of poly, tung oil and naptha went on in several coats.

Nicely done. The padauk is a great accent.

Simple clean lines, I like it!

I’ve done a little scroll sawing with paduk and it’s strikes me that whenever the scroll saw blade is getting dull there is inevitable the smell of burning wood, paduk though, smells like incense when the blade is getting dull,

-- I don't know what this is going to be like, but there's only one way to find out..........
