I had this table in my house and it was ugly. My husband was going to throw it away. I decided I was going to fix-it-up. At first my husband said that will be something you will start and not finished. And being a woman I had to prove him wrong LOL. This was the beginning of my woodwork projects. I got the last laugh. After I finished it I sold raffle tickets for a benefit. It brought in $424 in 1 1/2 days. LOL
I sanded it then took a grinder after it to give it the rough look. The drawing is charcoal drawn. I topped it off with polyurethane. I hope you like it. :)

Being that you are a woman and he is a man, he was proven wrong before you lifted a finger. :-)

I agree with Charlie. In 31 years I have learned to simply say yes dear and let it go at that. It doesn’t matter whether I am right or not I will still lose in the end.

By the way I like your table. It is a very interesting piece. It was well worth the auction price.

Great table and accompanying story. If a man makes a statement in the woods, twenty miles from the nearest woman, is he still wrong?
