This is a nice pen. The more of these pen posts I see the more impressed I am with the skill and ability it takes to produce them.

just getting ready to try this one. I have a wood turners finish bought from woodcraft, it’s a water / urathane, I am hoping I wont have any of the problems with oil based finishes, this one seems to have worked really well for other turning projects, and finished them in 5-8 coats in about 30 minutes

I use Shellawax Liquid on all of my wood pens. I’ve tried most of the other finishes out there and think that Shellawax gives the best and longest lasting results. You can get a sample bottle for $5 that will do 50 or so pens.
