Saturday was stretching out the fibers of my afternoon into a slow, steady and developmental whiplash. In this wave i decided to extend our tiny side deck. Fortunately I had several decking boards from a job that i did awhile back. Table is encouraged to be kept onto handrail by 2 hinges and the “dead leg” flops out with 1 hinge helping it kick the shit out of anything in its way. It seats 2 people and 1 cat, pretty easily. I’m going to build another stool, i just need to get some more decking boards. We rent this place so, I’m not trying to spend too much here, for $50 this will host some good times! Enjoy

Welcome to LumberJocks. Pretty neat little project.
Seems like a good way to utilze the small space.

You might want to check your local codes. I’m guessing that railing isn’t up to par. Very functional, though. Good idea.

The handrail is a mile away from being anywhere close to code. If it really becomes an issue, i will re-arrange it. Its really pretty sturdy, being that its just 2×4’s. Thanks everyone
