No not a tool gloat.. this is a tool tote… for toting tools…
A friend of mine has a grandson who loves woodworking and is having a birthday this Saturday…Asked me to make a tote on Monday… for delivery before Saturday…
Short notice I know but I managed to knock this up yesterday…
The routered name was done by a mate Ken the day before.. Then I only had to make the box joints on the Incra Router Table and assemble… the 2 coats of Tung Oi Finish are drying as we speak..
She will pick it up this afternoon…not bad for a first attempt at box joints on the Incra..
I used Camphor Laurel for the ends and sides with a ply base and a pine dowel for the handle..
The last pic is of the tool box prior to sanding and finishing.
Edit… yes I cleaned up the run…
Edit… Dimensions… Small… only 14 inches by 8 inches and 10 inches high….Stock is just over 1/2 inch thick.

That’s a classic Larry. Glad to see someone still making this style of tote.

Handy box for tooting stuff. Put a year on it so some grandchild years from now will not have to guess. Great job
