I have a friend that makes these as kits to assemble and turn. They are 20 numbered pieces and assemble like a puzzle. The natural pieces are 4 different types of wood and the dyed are all different colors of Maple. The finish on both is ca glue sanded to 12k grit. Enjoy. Russell

Neat. Can you post a pic of the blank before turning?

Cool design! Amazing what can be done with one type of wood and a lot of ingenuity! Would also love to see the raw blank before turning.

Thanks for the comments. The kit comes with 20 pieces that must be assembled, glued and turned. It took a good while to do the first on but the next 5 went pretty smooth. I assembled 5 in less than 45 min. this morning. I will try to take a picture and post it when I get time. The kits are available at Lazer Linez if you are interested. Thanks again for the comments.
