This is similar to the writing desk and hutch I posted a couple of months ago. I made it for the same people, who wanted a similar set for their other child. It is made of red oak stained Minwax Special Walnut, with two coats sanding sealer and two coats of lacquer, sprayed. The hutch drawers are pine and walnut and the desk drawers are pine, all box jointed. Dimensions are: desk – 30” tall, 40” wide, 26” deep. Hutch is 37” wide, 11.5” deep, and 18” tall.

It looks very nice. I like the way you used your grain. I liiked at the other desk that you posted. They do look similar, but clearly not the same.

Those legs really set it apart from an ordinary desk. Excellent!
