Red oak mallet made with shop scraps. Dimensions- Head: 2”T x 2.25”W x 5”L; Handle: 1”T x 1.25”W x 9.75”L. Handle is attached to the head with a wedged mortise and tenon which is also pinned through the side. Wedges and pegs are walnut. Mallet is finished with a coat of Danish Oil. After using for a bit it would have been alot better the make the handle two or three inches longer.

Great looking mallet. The wedges and pins stand out and look great.

Have your say...
