I have developed a hobby/habit of looking for what my daughter calls twisty sticks. They are made of several different types of wood. Wild honey suckle vine grows into them causing them to have a twist inbedded in the wood. They make great walking sticks and conversation pieces.

Cool sticks. We don’t have anything like that out here in Idaho. That I know of. I just cut of a limb of something and make it into a walking stick/cane. I like something not to straight. Takes a lot of the shock out of tapping it on the ground.

I have a dogwood stick with honeysuckle in it cut for a walking stick. I found it on Ft. McLellan in Alabama when in the Army. These are cool sticks.
