Our fence blew down so I decided to repurpose some of it for an office table. The legs are made from the 4X4 posts and the apron is made from the 2×4s. I used my jointer to square and straiten the weathered pieces. The top is a combination of left over reclaimed wood I had and wood from some pallets. My wife wanted a rustic feel so I only sanded the boards with 80 grit. I cut the bookshelves from another pallet. Not to bad for only spending 6 bucks for a box of 3” screws. I guess the real cost will come when I replace the fence!
