A farm table made from pine. The top is dark furniture wax and the rest is painted with milk paint. Not to back for $60.

it looks great! do you have any tips for making a table like this like is the pine top hard enough? I ask b/c I going to be trying to make one like this to and I plan on using pine also

Thanks. We actually have another table that we bought about 10 years ago that has a pine top. It has lasted a move to Germany and back and 4 kids. It does show signs of wear but it only adds character. I bought the wood from Lowes, but if I could find it I would have gone with heart pine.

CRR, could you tell me more about the finish you used for the top? What type of dark furniture wax?

millssnell…thanks for the interest. I got the furniture wax at a furniture store in Tucson called Tres Amigos. You can buy at online: http://www.tresamigosworldimports.com/tres-amigos-furniture-wax

I used the dark wax for the top.
