I made this guy from a piece of seasoned soft maple firewood. Shaped mostly with my sawzall followed by a Foredom power carver. Finding the hooks proved a challenge because apparently there’s not much demand to catch a twelve foot fish. :) The last pic shows him added to my whacky adorned shed that’s a work in progress that i’ll one day have to post as a project in itself.
Approx 15” long and probably weighs about 10 lbs. Thanks for looking!

Better make the box a self propelled unit, it’s gonna have to be a a biggun!

What a great project to post. I like your little ol’ popper. Come on over to Lake Fork ,Texas I thnk there’s a couple in there big enough to use that thing on. Where did you find the hooks? I’d like to make one just to paint it.

I Love This!! Poppers are my Favourite Lure for Largemouth Bass. I’d hang this Monster on the end of a STRONG Rod and take it to a Fishin’ Derby just to see what the Comments would be…LOL..
