The Harbor Freight dust collector has been reviewed to death….Therefore, I thank you…
My Mother thanks you, and my wife thanks you!!!! So either I put it togeather wrong and
these bolts, nuts, and wahers go somewhere, or you get a free dish of nuts, bolts, and
washers with every purchase. I would encourage all my LJ’s freinds to do tool reviews,
because you guys who reviewed the Harbor freight dust collector saved me a bundle of
money. Thanks guys & gals…:)

lol most folks, myself included seem to come up short of bolts when assembling their HF DC. I guess we know where all the bolts went!

Bob,
Mazel tov! Now go to www.wynnenv.com and look at the 35A cartridge filter that is a 10 minute install on that bad boy, and get rid of the top bag. Your lungs will thank you. Worked wonders on mine.

Seiously this is the scariest part of putting together anything that comes out of a box. i guess is better than being short right?
i agree, i love the tool reviews and use them quite often. keep it up.

I bought a HF dust collector a while back when they were $139 & I got to use a 20% coupon so I think it only cost about $112. I haven’t managed to find the time to put it together yet, so I can’t be of help on the parts issue. All I can say is: Sometimes you feel like a nut…sometimes you don’t. -SST

Shopsmith,
Uuhhgg….the guys at work told me I could combine the 20% off coupon with my $ 149.00 coupon.
For the machine and how it has preformed so far it is still a deal. It is a really good
investment when you consider a shop vac cost $ 80.00, and the filters clogg every 5 minutes.
Thanks for your comments everyone!!!

I’m disappointed. I did not have one extra part left over. Nothing to add to my collection of left over nuts, bolts, plugs, etc. Maybe they removed the extra parts to save money when they sold me my HF for $129 BEFORE I used a 20% off coupon. It works great. I need to upgrade to a 1 micron bag, and it will be just a tad better yet.
