This jewelry box for my wife is my entry into the Not Just Any Box contest. My blog has additional photos and information. The woods are cherry, figured maple and padauk. Total overall dimensions are 12.5” tall by 13” wide by 6.5” deep.

Holy cow! This came out nice. I need to make a jewelry box. Isn’t there some danger in making one too large? Empty drawers have implications.

I’ll say that’s not just any box – it is spectacular! I like the combination of woods, especially the Tiger Maple. Great job – I suspect that the wife was very happy.

Like I said on your blog this is a really nice box. The use of the three contrasting woods is absolutely gorgeous.

That is one beautiful box. You selection and combination of woods is really nice.
