Newest project. Walnut bar stools. Clear lacquer finish.
Tractor seat is made with walnut burl. Seat was scooped out with a router then cut closer with a
grinder. Sanded with various tools, disk sander, hand sander, vibrator sander.
Dowels were turned on lathe and come up through seat.
Splines lock legs in place. Stools very heavy. Shape makes them very comfortable.

The Walnut is fantastic !!
I wouldn’t be able to sit on them though , because I wouldn’t be able to stop admiring them long enough : )

Beautiful looking stools. I too would not want to cover up the wood with my big old butt.

Look comfy! Not to mention well made. Nice choice in wood, walnut is hands down my favorite.

Those are the nicest bar stools I have ever seen! The wood is beautiful. I really like how you shaped them. Looks much more comfortable than regular stools.
