I built a pair of these vanities last week and man were these drawers a lot of work. There was about a 4”difference in size between the two, so all the drawers were different sizes. What a pain! I think I spent most of the time on the drawer fronts. I made the feet out of some crown molding that I modified, so I wouldn’t have to buy anything special. I think it worked out okay. This job is for a decorator and no offense if any decorators are reading this, but sometimes they can make a job difficult. I guess that’s why I make the big bucks, LOL
If anyone is interested I posted some more on how I made these feet over at Pops’

The drawers do look like a lot of work, but it also looks like you did a great job with them.

This is a nice project. The detail in the work speaks volumes with respect to your craftmanship- but from your other posts we have come to expect this level of workmanship.

thanks for sharing.

How are you going to finish it out?

Thanks, this ones not for me to finish. I believe it will be faux painted some crazy color. This decorator we’ve worked for before and she always comes up with something spectacular. I’ll post some finished pictures if they don’t mess it up

Another great looking project – up to your usual standards. I noticed in you Bio that you have worked for your dad for the past 25 years – must have been a pleasure, how lucky you are. I also checked out your website, it is in line with the rest of your work – top notch.

Really great work. I assumed that after all that work they would paint it. We should probably privately compare notes on decorators and architects.

Thanks again for the nice compliments
I always try and overlap my jobs so I always have something to do and sometimes I can work on a couple of jobs at the same time. For instance, if I have raised panel doors for one job I try and make all my stile and rails for the next one also. It might take a little longer sometimes, but these custom jobs can get screwed up in a second. This way I can always jump from one to another without loosing too much time. I started building a 1920’s style speakeasy bar and I’m keeping up with its progress on this page here
