Magical Wands

Project by velnosju posted 672 days ago 248 views 0 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Well it started off as just a little fun. I had just finished watching the 5th harry potter movie and I thought i would take my hand at some wand making. the dark stained wand is spruce with a red stain. the lighter colored wand is yellow pine with a black painted handle. The other piece is just a fancy handle that I started and will probably attach the rest of the wand via a metal pin.

I think these are great projects. If I didn’t think my 2 year old would go after his sister like it was some sort of sword, I’d turn some. Neat spindle work.

Those are nice. The more projects like this I see the more convinced I am that I need to get a lathe. These look like a lot of fun to make and give another excuse to spend more time in the shop.

Thanks for sharing.
