Bracelets Europe tour…
thank you Jim
Some time ago I saw that our friend Jim had made some beautiful bracelets , and I commented on his post.
To my big surprise Jim replies by asking me the sizes of my Daughter Mathilde and Caroline’s arms!
So I send him these measures and last week a pack arrived from the US, yes you read me right!
Jim you can’t imagine the happiness of the girls, they both love the bracelets, and they both send you a big hug and thank you, I am sure you can see their smiles are from the hearts!
I can tell you all that the quality of Jims work are fantastic, the wood is so beautiful and his craftsmanship on these are excellent, for me it is a pleasure to see these on the arms of my girls.
Pictures:
1. Caroline.
2. Mathilde.
3. Caroline’s bracelet.
4. The details.
5. Saint Jude medallion in my hand.
6. Mathildes bracelet.
Just the day before the pack arrived I got another little pack, this was something I bought on the internet for me, a little medallion with the image of Saint Jude (a catholic saint), not that I am a catholic, not that I am a strong believer in God (I am member of the Danish protestant church), I bought this because Jim once told me he had put me in his prayers for Saint Jude, this touched me a lot, and so I decided that I wanted a little medallion as a hope token, and to remind me of Jim’s words. I am a great believer in love, no matter what religion or non religion, no matter what color or spoken word, love and the kindness of our fellow man, and you Jim show me it is worth believing.
One day Jim we will have that beer;
Jim you are a very special man, and you have given me a tiny light where there were none, not that I believe in getting better or even less getting cured, but that I like the thought of a Saint for the desperate cases and lost causes, this is a beautiful thought to carry in my heart.
Dear Jim thank you from my heart,
Best thoughts,
Mads

Ah, the St Jude part is by far that which most touches me :)
But the bracelets are a sweet attention too :)

Hi Mads. thanks for the nice words. I am glad they fit your girls. I didn’t think this would get this much attention. It was just a little gesture while making bracelets on my new fixtures.
St. Jude is the patron saint where there is little hope and when I was going through a divorce, someone sent me the holy card of St Jude anonymously and it helped me get through it. May he help you with your medical problems, too, my friend!!
A big hug back to Caroline and Mathilde..and to you good buddy. We’ll have that beer someday!
