this clock is made with Walnut and select pine. The works are electronic, so I didn’t install the front as a door. The works are accessed by a panel on the back. I resawed the walnut and glued up a cathederal match for the front. It doesn’t chime, but with electronic works, it’s nothing to installing one that does. As tall as it is, it is still a mantel clock.

-- I did measure it twice, it's still too short.
