First off, sorry i have been away for some time, but i have done a few projects. I have been trying new hobbies while i was gone and one was fly tying for fishing and i will try wooden lure making next. Anyway, this is a bat house i made, simple but i hope effetive. I am putting it up next good weather i get. It is painted black how bats like it with black netting inside for them to grip to. Cross your fingers that bats move in. Sorry for not taking pictures i really got into this one ans completly forgot step by step pics.

I have read about these and think I want one. Anything that eats a thousand mosquitoes an evening has to be good. How much do you think you have invested in this house. I have read $40 is what you expect. Is this true? I was going to make them with a group of boys then backed out with 20 houses at $40 each.

Hi, i made mine for about 15 dollars worth of wood and had already the netting and screws at home, so i guess for about 25 bucks (if you buy all three) you can make your own.

Mines not perfect as you see, but the bats won’t care for that and the mostm important thing is the spacing between the entrance. Any larger than 1 inch between, birds will move in on you.
