this is a music box with space for a bit of personal items. It’s made from Padauk with a Walnut top. It plays Fur Elise (sp). It took me a few hours to build. Finished in gloss laquer. The box is about 9×6x4 inches. I used blue felt for the liner.

-- I did measure it twice, it's still too short.

Great job. I really like Padauk boxes. And good selection on the music too.

great work I love padauk wood it contrasts with so many woods. The top from the inside looks like the sun rising over a mountain.

That is one of my favorite wood combinations and you did a good job with them. The profiles do add a lot of class to the build. Welcome and I hope to see more from you. always glad to have another person to give me inspiration!

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!

A fine looking box that you made there. The walnut accents really make it nice.
