This is my second box using Zebra wood. I really like its grain patterns and the finish it takes. This box has a top tray with 16 inserts and a bottom with 5 sections. All of the dividers are dovetailed for strength.
It was really a task to make the dovetails in the 5/16” divider stock. Most of te dividers are 2” long.
The bottom and tray are lined with red velvet. The box is 12×8x6.5”

I keep coming up with the word, handsome. It fits, well, handsomly. Much like the box and especially the craftsmanship of its dividers. Well done. Zebrawood is on my short list of woods to use.

The zebrawood grain makes a beautiful box absolutely stunning. Looks like excellent craftsmanship as well.

another stunner, Greg/. You really got box making down pat!

Beautiful box.
I like that you mitered the corners, and carried the zebra stripes around them perfectly.
Great work.

Zebra wood never looked so fine . The handle and matching stripe on the lid is very appealing . The scalloping reminds me of a classic sea shell carving , or wind swept sand on the dunes . This is one beautiful box and one excellent example of fine craftsmanship . My favorite of your boxes , which are all great .

Beautiful Box greg. This one is really special. I love the way the grains flows through the carvings. It reminds me of boating on the ocean. Very nice work sir.
