Getting into this rolling pin thing, Have made about 6 others besides these. I like making t he ones that the handles roll, a lotmore work, but well worth it. In the picture of the two together, the one in the forgroung is segmented, and the handles don’t roll. The one in the background, is my wifes that I made about 3 years ago, It sure has made a lot of pie dough ang homemade noodles, It is well seasoned, one look at my belly would prove that..

The best way for me to try to explain how to make a rolling pin that actualy rolls is have you see if you can pick up a copy of Woodturning Design Spring 2004 New Collectors Edition On page 26, there is an article by Joseph M. Herrmann call ROLLING PIN of many colors, he explains this far better than I could and has pictures to show how it’s done. You might try a local library or per haps a turners club to see if they have the magazine. There might still be a chance at getting a back issue. If you would want to contact me thru my profile site, and provide me with an address, I would be glad to send you a copy of the article. I know that there is a way to do this on my scanner and send it via E-mail, but I am not that sharp on a computer yet. Best Regards: “Rockbuster”
