For this one I tried Maple and Walnut together, the overall result was a good contrast. The top is Quatersawn White Oak joined in the center so the rays shoot up and outward. I incorperated the humidity guage into the tray handle,

I try to add as manny unique parts to each project, I actually made the handle about 6 months before the box, then hoped to find it a home.

Thank you for the compliments, I know the EOD techs that have the boxes really like them.

I am very interested in purchasing an EOD humidor for my husband as a welcome home gift. I was curious if you sell your work and if so how do I go about purchasing? Thank you very much!! Rebecca AF EOD Wife :)

I have made a few to order but the time it takes to make one limits it’s feasability as a quick gift. With the projects I have now it would be atleast a few months to get it completed. You can email me directly at robert_mathias@yahoo.com and we can talk pricing and design.
