I started last year making projects to donate to the EOD memorial Auction held each year with the Ball and the memorial ceremony that adds the names of our fallen to the monument. I was able to send these in this year.
These two are only slightly different from each other in the type of wood used in the legs and the badge as well as the badge being reversed on one (I figured it would look good on an office desk if viewed from the other side of the desk) but I wanted them similar since they are at the same auction.

Box 1
The EOD Badge
Bomb – Bloodwood (South America)
Shield – Macassar Ebony (India)
Lightning Bolts – Bloodwood, light color (South America)
Stars – Sapele (Africa) and Alder (Northern Europe)
Wreaths – Mahogany (India)
Background – Ash (USA)

The Case
(Outside)
Sides – Black Walnut (USA)
Legs – Wenge (Congo) (inside)
lining – Spanish Cedar (Mexico)
Hinges – Brass, gold plated

Box 2
Bomb – Bloodwood (South America)
Shield – Desert Ironwood (Arizona)
Lightning Bolts – Bloodwood, light color (South America)
Stars – Sapele (Africa) and Alder (Europe)
Wreaths – Mahogany (India)
Background – White Oak (USA)

The Case
(Outside)
Sides – Black Walnut (USA)
Legs – Myrtle (California)
(inside)
Lining – Spanish Cedar (Mexico)
Hinges – Solid Brass, gold plated

I do kind of hope nobody lets kids around the one with wenge legs, they are rather sharp
