I built this out of neccesiity, I needed it and couldn’t find one I liked. It was my first project and I made many mistakes but was happy with the result.

It looks great.

Mistakes? What mistakes. :)

I hope it is going to be the first of many projects.

Thanks for the good words, and it was the first of a bunch. as far as mistakes, I got it home and realized that my cieling is only about 7 feet in the basement, so I had to cut it off the bottom, then I got it put together and realized the top hoes were not lined up with the bottom ones because I had installed the top upside down, I added a stip ove the bottom holes with the correct spacing to fix it. There were other minor problem but I was told by a shop teacher that the skill of a woodworker was measured by how well you can fix mistakes.

Very nice. I need to make a replacement one myself – what’s behind the door? Racks and supplies?

“I was told by a shop teacher that the skill of a woodworker was measured by how well you can fix mistakes.” I like that!
Nice pool cue stand. What kind of wood?
