Not the most elegant project but purpose-built. We had a nook between a wall and the brick fireplace that had become the dumping grounds for anything that didn’t have a home – dog snacks, kid’s homework, errant electronic devices, cords, etc. So, I built this organizer using really simple kreg butt joints and inexpensive milled maple from Lowes, a few knobs/handles and it was done. I stained the wood “cherry” (which doesnt look anything like cherry). I added the small center drawer of cocobolo to add at least a splash of elegant wood. It’s really functional and as you can see from the photo is barely organizing the corner but its an improvement.
