I made this out of barn lumber. I can’t figure out what kind of wood it is my guess is oak. And I also turned the pegs myself as well.

Pretty piece of lumber! My guess is white oak.

Could also be hickory? I haven’t seen that kind of grain in oak, but then I haven’t looked inside every tree.
