USS Constitution Half Hull

I decided to make another half hull of a real ship, the USS Constitution. The ship’s dimensions are scaled. For the hull’s shape I found a bunch of pictures and diagrams online and I free handed it making the best judgements I could while carving. The only thing it’s missing now is a brass plate with the name engraved on.

Beautiful job. I’ve always admired half-hull models. Maybe I might give it a try now that you’ve provided inspiration.

Ist very well done. Incredible you carved it out. Normally i use a plane to get the “little” stair turn in to a boat:)
