Most people that work on Computers all day, don’t know that by sitting on your butt all day, your chances of having a heart attack go up a whopping 54%!!!! Something to do with the leg muscles and a protein that is circulated in your bloodstream when you are standing or walking. Well, you can see by the first photo, I was down on my butt all day. LOL

So, I built my Stand-Up workstation from spare wood in my workshop. It ain’t pretty, but man on man, it works GREAT. I can feel my legs pumping all day!

Thanks for looking!

Very nicely done. Because I’m a geek I can appreciate the way you have designed this workstation. Looks like there is plenty of room underneath for storage. Thanks for sharing.

yeah, underneath is where all of my external hard drives sit. With the exception of the one on top, which I’ll be moving down below. Remember to take breaks and get on your feet!

Nice. I went to a standing desk a few months ago at work…I love it.
