Here are a few pieces of intarsia that I have done in the past; I found these cleaning the basement. Most are done with Walnut, Maple, Oak and Mahogany. With the exception of the beak of the eagle I don’t know what the wood is, the finish is a spray poly.

Nice work SGt! I’d clean them off and display them. I need to check into doing some of that.

Nice work. I like the fish the best. It sure looks original to me. That makes it more impressive. Clean the dust off and make many more.

Great work here. I still need to see where you are getting your wood… I still havent found a good place here.
