This was my first real furniture project, my Son and Daughter in law had just bought their first house and purchased a huge sectional for the living room, once the sectional was in place there was no room left for a coffee table. So I had Mindy choose the style of table she wanted (lucky for me she likes Mission style furniture too!) and had her give me the dimensions of her room and of the sectional as it sat in the room and told her I would handle the rest…
This is the result and was their big Christmas present for 2010.
The frame is White Oak and the panels are Red Oak, the top is Red Oak panel surrounded by White Oak. The finish is Golden oak stain and wipe on Poly.

Thanks Jim! And you are right, even though I went over it a dozen times my angles are not 100% on the dot but you have to look at the piece hard while up close to discover this. Measure Twice cut once should really be measure twice then twice again before you cut!
