This was built to match the entertainment center in our new house. I used Oak plywood and a 1×2 strip to trim the front to match the rest of the shelves. I am pleased how it turned out, but more importantly My wife was pleased!!! I hand wiped 7 coats of MINWAX natural stain. Thanks for looking.

Great job on the shelf. It matches the bookshelves nicely. One question…....What is the main unit constructed of?
It does not appear to be oak, unless my monitor needs adjusting.

tt1106- I should have taken a larger picture to get the full view of the wall, the center piece is drywall and the shelves surrounding are oak.
