This project is for all you lumberjocks who want to make something with only one sheet of plywood cutting it with only a jig saw or bandsaw. This piece is made completely out of one sheet of plywood no banding the edges or solid wood on the edges just beltsand the rounds after cutting it . The trick I found out is texture paint or elasticomeric paint any home depot carries it. A thick coat all over it let dry for several hours or over night, then sand it with a vibrating sander don’t sand totally flat leave the wavy paint for texture ; finish with paint . If you desire a old world finish then stain the paint and seal it. If you want to hand paint it like I did fine. My grandmother could make this piece and quilt at the same time. Lol to all .

Arthouse, That a mighty good looking plywood table. Did you use a pattern you got from somewhere or make it up youself? Thanks for the info and the post.

Nice execution of design on a shoestring budget…. fabulous example to others on what can be done ‘on the cheap’....

Kudos and my respected admirations to your grandmother as well…. lol
