Shirley (my sister-in-law) did an outstanding job on the canvas cover for this truck, It is now able to go on the completed shelf.

That is so cool. I too like to make scales toys and such. They are not easy to build and take a lot of time. Great job on this and all the others as well!

This came out great and the color of the wood is perfect. Is it walnut?

thanks for the comments everyone!!! yes Spunwood your correct it is walnut, I agree Shirley did a fantastic job on the cover I made her a few cutting boards in appreciation of her assistance. I was going to try to make one myself but it would in no stretch of the imagination look anywhere near as nice as the one she made. very glad to have her assistance on this one … she even picked out the material, all i said was i needed a cover :)
