Large Bowed Psaltery

The grain is hypnotic. Through the stings it almost seems fluid.

Thanks for the comment. You should see the small bowed psaltery up close. The purpleheart has lavender flames throughout. I just bought a 2×7 x 60 piece of purpleheart. You never know what you are getting until you plane off the skin.
