This is one of three segmented turnings I submitted for acceptance in our local craftsman guild. The mug is
3 3/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches at the base and lip. The woods are Spanish Cedar and Red Heart. Counting the 3 piece handle and bottom it is made up of 100 pieces. The finish is paste wax over Poly Coat.
Oh by the way I was accepted.

Don,

Great looking cup. I like the redheart with the spanish cedar. Nice accent.

Very nice. I haven’t done any segmented turning just yet but it’s on the list for the future.

Hey Don, congratulations on your acceptance to your local Guild, hope you get as much out of it as I do mine, you will be amassed at the collective talent and skill sharing available,
Nice bit of turning by the way, I see you are right into segmentation, :)
