Couple of designer pens from PSI, without the tenon, these are much quicker to turn. The wood is pre-drilled cocobolo blanks, makes for quick turning. Finished with Mylans friction laquer polish.

Nice Set! I really like Cocobolo it is one of my favorites. So you liked the predrilled blanks? I have never tried them I guess because of the price differance. I may try them to see if I like them too. At any rate….
Nice Turning!!!

Thanks for sharing!!

I just ordered some of the predrilled ones to see how they are.

They work great, I use them a lot. There is an issue with where the drill bits meet in the middle, but you can cut around that. The colors are uniform from one to the next. Great grain colors, nice orange and black lines. they are closer to the size of most pens, round already so turning is quicker. Not sure which cocobola they are. I know there are 2 cocobolo woods, but not sure which one is which. If I buy Cocobola at a Woodcraft store, it’s completely different looking wood. No orange, still a nice looking wood. If anybody knows the difference, please chime in.
