This is the first pepper mill that I have turned.I’ve had the mill part for about two years and just recently I attended a wood turners club meeting were some one showed us how to make them. It’s about 5 3/8” tall and Maple with strips of Purple Hart and i drilled a Walnut dowel at some weird angle just to see what it would look like. The finish is General Finishes salad bowl finish and I used 400 grit with the finish and wet sanded it so its super smooth.

Nice laminated mill. What kind of drill bit did you use to hollow it out?
