The other day my wife said she’d like a potpori bowl, ” About this big and about this deep” holding her hands in the air. “Oak would be good”. SO… here it is, Oak and purple heart with a padauk slug in the bottom. It’s
3 1/4 high 5 1/4 at the base and 6 1/8 at the top ring finished with 4 coats of laquaer and 2 coats of friction wax. Man those hands in the air measurements are tough do on my lathe.

Very nice. I like the contrasting woods and the segmented appearance.
