I made a similar cutting board over the holidays and really liked the design. I had leftover cherry from the same board and built these two cutting boards for friends. One is a bit smaller, maybe 12L x 7W which would make a good cheese board.
The other is nearly 2’ ft in length which has maple runners and slides into a built in cabinet. For this cutting board I added a 1/2” face frame w/ biscuits and screws and painted it off-white to match the cabinets. My friends who had an empty rectangular space in their cabinets didn’t realize that it was for a built in cutting board, so..I took the measurements and a couple months later got around to producing this board. Both were gifts and fun to give!
The wood is book matched cherry with a thin maple strip in the center and two thin strips of cherry for contrast. Thanks for looking!

This is another good looking set of cutters. I particularly like the cherry board since maple and cherry are my favorite wood combination.
