Hello all, this is my first post here, a recently completed sword rack, the last of my projects in my pre-domino era. Mortise and loose tenon joinery, template routed, made from Cherry with a Wenge inlay. Worst part of this project was rough cutting the sides, because I was too lazy to change the blade on my bandsaw for it. Anyway, here it is….let me know what you all think. My current project is nearing completion, and is much grander in scale, can’t wait to show it off. Thanks,

gbvinc, I have been involved in martial arts for quite a while. I currently hold a black belt in Kenpo and Juijitsu, level 2 from the Thai boxing association of the USA, and am ranked in the Inayan system of kali escrima, in which I’ve studied Siniwali, Dequertas, Largo Mano, and Kedina de mano. I’ve also studied Kenjutsu and Iaijutsu.
Thanks all for the kind words. I’m just glad to finally have a place to put my stock of weapons. The guys go elsewhere, in a more secure area.

Very nice! My son is into swords and I’ve promised to make him a display stand for his first sword we bought for him last year. Thanks for the inspiration!
